Hola, I’m Lucy! I’m originally from Sheffield, England, but my love of travel has taken me all around the world. I’ve worked as a jeweler in the U S, UK and Australia, spent 18 months living in the Philippines, and have probably spent close-to half my life in Bangkok (the land of gemstones!) These days though, I call Malaysia my home and absolutely love it.

I’m the founder of Lucy Walker Jewellery – a popular online hub of classes, community, and support for jewelry makers at every stage of their journey. While our stand alone classes are incredible, it’s our Metalsmith Academy community that is the heart of what we do. Professional Jewelry Designer

I’ve spent 5+ years as a jewelry designer, ever since graduating from the Birmingham School of Jewellery in the UK. I’ve worked for one of Malaysia’s top jewelry houses and created some beautiful, custom, one-of-a-kind pieces for some pretty special customers (using gemstones I still dream about to this day!)

While I love getting my hands dirty making jewelry, my real passion lies in the design phase. Whether I’m using computers or old-school hand rendering, I love designing unique pieces using inspiration from all around me. I can help you develop your own unique style and professional design techniques, so you too can take your jewelry creations to the next level.
